This event is held by the Brazilian Computer Society – SBC, which is a civil, non-profit association that encourages technological and scientific development in Brazil and is the largest computing society in South America.
Registration fees for SVR are listed below. We emphasize that students and professionals who are not members of SBC can join (or renew the membership) in the registration process. Signing up with SBC membership is the most advantageous option for non-SBC members. Check out the benefits of joining SBC.
Registration Benefits
Registered participants will get a certificate and will also have access to all online platforms, where there will be access to the live streaming, social activities, Q&A during sessions, proceedings before/during conference, and much more.
Live streaming availability for new-comers and inclusion
Event live streaming and chat for poster sessions will be available without registration or fees, with the link in the SVR website to reach a broad audience and facilitate newcomers’ access.
Checking the Chosen Category
At the time of registration in the ECOS system, for categories that need some type of proof, the upload that certifies the chosen category will be required. Verification of this document can take up to 1 business day. Therefore, we suggest that, in order to prevent any inconvenience, participants should avoid last-minute registration (e.g. in the last day of the registration period). Only after validation by the SBC team, payment methods will be released. The registrant will receive informative emails in all stages of the registration in SVR.
Registration for authors
For accepted publications, at least 1 (one) author must be registered and paid for the event and pay the publication fee in the corresponding registration category. Presenting authors need to be registered to the conference. The policy for author registration of accepted publications is informed in the respective track of the publication.

* In Ecos system, for the first publication to validate, one of its authors must register on his/her appropriate category (undergraduate student, graduate student or professional) and pay a supplement to reach the publication fee required for the publication category. If the author wants to validate more than one paper, for each extra paper, the author pays an extra paper publication fee.
Forms of Payment
Registration payment can be made by bank slip (boleto bancário), credit card, debit in Banco do Brasil account, commitment note and billing, through the SBC registration system, however payments by debit and bank slip (boleto bancário) will be closed on November 4, 2020. After that date it will be possible to pay by credit card, commitment note and billing through the registration system.
Registrations by Commitment Note and Billing
The participant must access the ECOS system and make the registration, selecting the form of payment “commitment note” or “billing” and clicking on pay. The system will provide the necessary information that must appear in the commitment note or billing request.
Cancellation policy
Until October 7, 2020, a refund of 80% of the amount paid for registration in SVR can be made. After this date there will be no refund of any amount paid. The policy applies both to canceling registration and to canceling any additional activity. To request cancellation, send an e-mail to faturamento@sbc.org.br.
